Creator Lens Privacy Policy
Last updated October 7, 2026
In short: everything Creator Lens knows about you stays in your own browser. It talks to Amazon using the Amazon sign-in you already have, and only to do what you ask. To keep everyone under Amazon's request limits, it also shares the Creator Connections campaign details and public product-page facts it reads (brand, commission, dates, seats, budget, products, price, monthly-sales bracket, video counts and placement) with the Creator Lens pool, and checks the pool before asking Amazon. Nothing about you is in that. If you subscribe to Pro, what's needed to run your subscription is sent too. There are no analytics, no ads, and nothing is sold.
What Creator Lens stores
All of this is kept in your browser's extension storage (chrome.storage.local) on your computer. None of it is sent to the developer.
- Your details, if you enter them: name, email, phone, shipping address, Amazon storefront link, social handles, follower count and, optionally, business and tax details. These are used only to fill in brands' sample forms for you.
- Answers you've typed into forms, so the same question can be filled in next time.
- Your note to brands and a log of the samples you requested and the brands you messaged.
- Cached Amazon data: Creator Connections campaigns, product sales brackets, prices, video counts and your own video statistics, so pages load faster and Amazon isn't asked twice.
- Settings such as your commission rate, watch list and the sites where form autofill is allowed.
Where data goes
- Amazon. Creator Lens reads Amazon pages and calls Amazon's own sites (amazon.com, amazon.ca, amazon.co.uk and their Associates Central sites) using your existing sign-in. Joining a campaign, requesting a sample or messaging a brand sends exactly what that action needs to Amazon, including your note to the brand, which may contain your shipping address if you put it there. Amazon's own privacy notice covers what Amazon does with it.
- Forms you fill in. On Google Forms, and on sites you specifically allow, Creator Lens types your saved details into the form. It never submits a form. What you submit goes to that form's owner under their privacy policy.
- The Creator Lens campaign pool. Creator Connections limits how often each account can ask about campaigns. So Creator Lens sends the campaign details and product-page facts it reads to a shared pool on our server (Cloudflare). Every copy of the extension checks the pool first, so the same campaign or product page isn't fetched from Amazon twice. A pool entry holds only campaign-level facts that every creator in Creator Connections can see: campaign ID, brand, campaign name, commission percentage, start and end dates, status, free-sample flag, creator seats taken and required, budget, category, the product ASINs it covers, and the campaign-wide click, order and sales totals across all creators. A product-page entry holds what anyone visiting that Amazon page sees: title, price, stock, the "bought in past month" bracket, category, rating, review count, and which videos appear where on the page (public creator names and video titles included). Product-page entries are deleted after 7 days. Neither ever includes your store ID, creator ID, name, your own clicks or earnings, your videos, your sign-in, or anything you typed. Uploads and pool lookups carry a random install ID, used only to cap how much one install can send or read per day, and deleted after two days. Campaigns are removed from the pool two weeks after they end. While it's on, your extension also re-reads a few of the pool's oldest campaigns when you aren't using much of your Amazon allowance, which keeps the pool current. You can turn sharing off in the popup (Share campaign data). Your extension still reads the pool with it off.
- Creator Lens Pro (only if you subscribe). Payments are handled by Stripe; Creator Lens never sees your card. Our subscription server keeps your license key, a random ID for your browser install, your email and your Stripe subscription status, and the extension checks that status a few times a day. None of your personal Amazon data, form details or notes are ever sent to it.
- Nowhere else. Creator Lens does not use analytics, crash reporting, advertising or tracking. Your data is never sold, rented or used for anything other than the features above.
Permissions
- Amazon sites: to show campaign, sales and video data on Amazon pages and to perform the actions you click.
- Google Forms: to fill brands' sample request forms.
- Other sites (optional): requested one site at a time, only when you click Allow form autofill on this site. You can remove any site from the extension's popup.
- Storage, alarms, scripting, active tab: to save your data locally, run scheduled checks (such as your campaign watch list) and add form autofill to sites you allow.
Your control
- Edit or clear your details from the My details panel on any form.
- Use Forget learned answers in that panel, or Clear cache in the popup.
- Turn off Share campaign data in the popup to stop contributing to the campaign pool.
- Uninstalling Creator Lens deletes everything it stored.
- Cancel Pro any time from the popup → Manage subscription. To have your subscription record deleted, email us.
Children
Creator Lens is a tool for adult Amazon Associates and Influencers and is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date above will change with it. A change that sends data anywhere new would be described here before it ships.
